Nathan's Chicago apt.

Nathan was in Chicago for a block, studying a history topic at the Newberry Library in downtown Chicago. His topic was the rivalry between St. Louis and Chicago. The students stayed in the Canterbury Court Apts in the Gold Coast area. Those of you not familiar with Chicago don't know that it is the second most affluent area in the US.
As one could assume, he had a wonderful time and has decided he is definitely a "city boy"!

Laumeier Sculpture Park

We did another 30/30 walk on Monday through Laumeier Park in STL County. Very pretty walk through some woods, as well as paved trails. This is only a sampling of the large number of artworks in the park. I don't necessarily go in for modern or contemporary art, but I do appreciate the work involved.
The red one has been there forever. The wooden box one is one I hadn't noticed before. There are 45 of them, virtually identical. I think I'd have stopped at about three. LOL
The blurb on the white man (I personally hate those artist blurbs...) says that the artist started at #1 and has sequenced numbers every day. This is how far he or she got when this was finished. "Man's inhumanity to man," is all I can say. :P
